Sheikh Rahman, MBA, MSIS is a highly experienced Senior Software Engineer with over 11 years of web and mobile development experience. He is passionate about delivering utility and business value using the right tools and platforms. Sheikh is currently working at CBRE as a Sr. Software Engineer where he customizes front-end for SharePoint CMS supporting 90k internal users, codes UI in ReactJS, AngularJS, and ASPX, maintains code repositories in TFS and Azure Git, manages SharePoint assets via PowerShell, and works individually and as a member of an Agile team to deliver effective solutions. Sheikh has previously worked at Mogul Software as an Android/JavaScript Architect and Developer, where he developed and maintained Android mobile apps using publicly available web API and native Java code, built NodeJS back-end RESTful Services and ReactJS front-end interfaces. He has also worked at Colemont Insurance Brokers as a Software Developer / Analyst, where he developed and supported twelve web applications written in C# .Net, supported and enhanced distributed WinForms application in VB6, and developed SharePoint 2007 solutions including custom pages and web parts. Sheikh holds an MBA/MS in Information Systems from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business and a BA in Pre-Med Biology and Spanish from Baylor University. He is also skilled in using various tools and technologies such as Visual Studio, VS Code, TFS, Fiddler, PowerShell, SQL, Chrome, SharePoint, AngularJS, Azure, NodeJS, ReactJS, Git, and ASPX. When he is not writing code, Sheikh enjoys spending time with his family, playing now-classic video games like Halo and Age of Empires, and occasionally going out salsa dancing.
